About the Role:
To lead the end-to-end communications for St Lukes ElderCare (SLEC), strengthening the organisations brand by translating strategic objectives into well-curated communication initiatives and executing them across print, digital, and engagement platforms. This role ensures consistent messaging, enhances stakeholder engagement, and supports the organisations mission by effectively communicating its programmes, impact, and values to internal and external audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Brand Management: Contribute to the development and implementation of SLECs integrated marketing communications strategy, including managing corporate brand assets and ensuring consistency and synergy across all communication platforms. Support both external and internal communications efforts to strengthen the organisations brand reputation and cultivate brand ambassadors.
- Mainstream Media Engagement: Engage mainstream and faith-based media to publicise SLECs services and programmes. This includes helming media releases, pitches, and media responses, coordinating interviews, engaging journalists, and building strong media relationships.
- Thought Leadership: Shape thought leadership strategies by identifying high-impact opportunities and crafting compelling content that positions the organisation as a credible and trusted voice in the sector.
- Content Creation & Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to plan and develop content and creative assets across print and digital channels, including annual reports, newsletters, EDMs, corporate gifts, marketing collaterals, and the corporate website.
- Social Media Engagement: Develop and implement social media strategies to strengthen the organisations presence on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. This includes curating engaging content, fostering online community interaction, and monitoring performance metrics and emerging trends.
- Communications Counsel & Partnership: Provide strategic communications advice to internal departments to address communications needs, ensuring alignment with the organisations brand positioning and messaging. Partner departments to develop communication materials such as service brochures and outreach collaterals, as well as to plan and organise milestone events.
- Campaign Planning & Execution: Plan and execute integrated communications campaigns to support organisational initiatives, programmes, and key events.
- Crisis & Issues Communications: Support the development and implementation of crisis and issues communication plans to safeguard the organisations reputation and ensure timely, accurate responses when required.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track and analyse communications performance across media coverage, digital platforms, and campaigns, and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Vendor & Agency Management: Work with external vendors, agencies, designers, and production partners to deliver high-quality communication materials and campaigns.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Communications, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of three to five years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for storytelling and developing thought leadership.
- Experience in mainstream media and social media engagement. Aptitude in digital and social media, as well as familiarity with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro), would be an advantage.
- Experience in project and event management.
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment, while also being a team player with strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Basic proficiency in Chinese, to communicate with our elderly clients and review Chinese-language collaterals, would be an advantage.
