Job Description
This role leads the development and execution of communication strategies across the APAC region to support broader business objectives. The position is responsible for creating engaging content for internal and external channels including press releases, presentations, speeches, and social media while ensuring consistent messaging across the organization. It involves building strong relationships with media stakeholders to enhance brand visibility and monitoring media coverage to provide insights that shape future campaigns.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in communications, public relations, or a related field, with a focus on media relations and external communications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to write and edit a wide variety of content for multiple channels.
- Fluency in one or more languages, especially Chinese, is a plus, but not necessary.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage budgets and meet deadlines.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective communication strategies for the APAC region, aligned with the overall business objectives.
- Create compelling content for internal and external communication channels, including press releases, presentations, speeches, social media, and other relevant platforms.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure messaging is consistent across all channels and that key messages are effectively communicated.
- Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers across the region to promote positive coverage of Synpulse and our products and services.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on media activities and trends, as well as provide insights and recommendations for future campaigns.
- Support crisis communication efforts, including drafting crisis communication plans, preparing messaging and managing communication channels during a crisis situation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of communication strategies with overall business goals.
- Manage budgets and timelines for communication initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
