We are seeking a creative, analytical, and strategic professional to join the Communications team as an Associate for our Commercial & Investment Bank business in Singapore.

As an Associate within the Communications Team, you will shape and support internal and external communications strategies and work with a diverse team in one of the world's leading financial institutions. You should possess strong media and public relations background, with a proven ability to produce high-quality content for an internal and external audience. You will be reporting to the head of Communications, Singapore

Job responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of a multi-faceted communications strategy for the firm, including media engagement for senior leaders, internal communications channels and holistic public relations activities across traditional, social and digital media
  • Support media engagements for the Singapore franchise and relevant businesses and functionstosuccessfully deliver impactful coverage across priority press publications.
  • Develop and writehigh-quality content, including press releases, thought leadership, internal articles,newsletters,announcements,townhallsand executive speeches for a broad range of channels.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executivesin Singaporeand ensure consistent messaging that is aligned with the broader communications strategy and business priorities
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders within a regional team and across business functions
  • Provide communications support for other corporate functions in Singapore, include tech and AI, human resources and philanthropy
  • Assist in issues management

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Minimum 5years of relevant experience in corporate communications, media relations or financial journalism
  • Superior verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to identify, tell and share great stories through effective writing skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Highly responsive with the ability to multitask and prioritize high volume, high priority initiatives in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently as well as partnering with and managing multiple stakeholders
  • Fluency across social media and other communications channels, both internal and external, with a proven ability to tap them for the right target audience
  • Proven judgment in handling sensitive issues, particularly pertaining to media
  • Effective analytical and critical thinking skills ability and eagerness to take a creative approach to problem solving
  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Energetic, collaborative and a culture-carrier
  • Confident and comfortable in managing projects across multiple lines of business
  • Ability to maintain and strive for high standards
  • Expertise in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Additional software (Adobe Acrobat Professional, Photoshop, HTML) or multimedia skills are a plus
