Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Communications & Content Specialist supports the Singapore communications team in enhancing and executing internal and external communication efforts. The role focuses on content development, multimedia production, event coordination, media monitoring, and governance compliance, ensuring alignment with global communications processes and standards.

Contract duration: 12 months.

Job Background/context:

The role sits within the Global Communications function and provides communications support for Singapore‑based and global initiatives. The incumbent will work closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and partners to develop communication materials, manage platforms, coordinate events, and support governance and reporting requirements in a fast‑paced, multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communications & Content Development:
  • Creative development and content production of strategic communication deliverables including memos, presentations and fact sheets for diverse internal and external audiences and special projects.
  • Create engaging multimedia content, including videos, digital and social media assets to effectively convey key messages.
  • Manage and update internal communication platforms (intranet, newsletters, memos).
  • Media Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Support media relations, including proactive monitoring, analysis, and vendor management.
  • Event Management & Coordination:
  • Coordinate and manage administrative tasks and logistics for senior visits, CCO town halls, global campaign activations etc.
  • Oversee all aspects of event delivery, including creative design, content, logistics, and on-site management, working with partners and vendors where necessary.
  • Governance & Operations:
  • Manage and ensure compliance with governance processes, including approvals and audit requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and support all reporting obligations (quarterly, ad-hoc).

    Knowledge/Experience:

Essential

  • 2-4 years of working experience in a communications or content role with a multinational corporation, content or public relations agency, or journalism especially in digital or multimedia platforms.
  • Fluent in English with outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Understanding of traditional and social media landscapes, with proven ability to leverage these platforms for effective communication.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from conception to delivery.
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills.

Desirable

  • Experience in the banking or financial services sector but not critical. Open to other industries.

Skills: (technical skills)

Essential

  • Experience creating multimedia or digital communication assets using video/photo editing software e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lumen5.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from conception to delivery.

Desirable

  • Strong content development and editing capabilities across formats.

Qualifications: (degree/certifications)

  • Degree or diploma in Communications, Journalism, Media, Marketing, or a related discipline.
