Responsibilities
Below is the job description for open position
Purchasing
- Lead commodity planning and execution, including strategic supplier programs.
- Develop and implement global commodity strategies to drive cost, quality, delivery, and technology objectives.
- Drive cost reduction, cost avoidance, investment optimization, and productivity initiatives.
Supplier Management
- Manage the supplier portfolio for assigned commodity categories.
- Evaluate and audit suppliers to assess capabilities, performance, and compliance.
- Monitor supplier performance through relevant KPIs and implement improvement actions where required.
- Provide regular reporting on supplier performance and key risks.
Project Management
- Define and implement purchasing strategies for new products and projects in alignment with global objectives.
- Coordinate sourcing activities for new product development and key business projects.
- Identify, select, and negotiate with strategic suppliers and establish competitive long-term agreements.
- Support R&D with sourcing requirements and supplier selection.
- Collaborate with Production and R&D to resolve supplier-related issues and disputes.
- Ensure effective supply planning to support material availability and delivery requirements.
Your Profile
- 6 years of experience in Purchasing / Commodity in a semi-conductor OR industrial manufacturing sector
- Master's / Bachelors in Engineering, Supply Chain or similar field
- Experience in managing commodity categories and supplier networks across Asia and Europe.
- Expertise in commodity strategy, supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, etc.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional, and fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English
