Commodities Trading: Accountant (Oil/Gas/Bunkering)

.Seeking for a Accountant with minimum 3 years of Accounting/Product Accountant experience in a Commodities company (Oil or Gas, Bunkering/other commodities products).

THE COMPANY

This commodities trading firm is advancing steadily within the commodities market. With their established network and strong growth plans, they seek for a brand new headcount, Senior Accountant for their Accounting team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Full sets of Accounting/Financial reporting
2. Analyze the monthly variances/perform monthly reconciliation of trading and accounting P&L (including marked-to-market/MTM accounting)
3. Month end closing
4. Liaise with auditors and IRAS etc.
5. Work with other stakeholders (Finance, Treasury, Operations and Traders etc.)
6. Any other adhoc duties

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Degree in Accountancy/Accounting/Commerce or ACCA or any other relevant education
2. Minimum 3 years of Accounting/Product Accountant experience in a Commodities company (Oil or Gas, Bunkering/other commodities)
3. Meticulous, diligent, proactive, analytical and a team player
