Develop, review, and finalize commissioning procedures, plans, and schedules for hydrocarbon process-related systems. Review engineering and contractual documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Conduct and oversee pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for topside process modules, including separators, compressors, and water injection systems.
Ensure that all testing and commissioning activities are carried out safely and in accordance with project and regulatory standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with topside equipment. Liaise with vendors, construction teams, and other engineering disciplines to ensure smooth integration.
Prepare commissioning documentation, including test records, and complete punch lists. Ensure a smooth handover of commissioned systems to the operations team.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering. Extensive work experience (often 10+ years) in the offshore oil and gas industry, with a focus on commissioning topside systems on FPSO projects.
Strong knowledge of hydrocarbon process systems, including gas compression, separation, and water injection. Proficiency with system completion software and interpreting P&IDs.
High safety awareness and commitment to safety policies. Knowledge of offshore safety protocols.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in offshore environments.
