Job Description

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation: Chop, slice, season, and prepare ingredients such as vegetables, meats, and fish. Prepare basic salads and sauces.
  • Kitchen Support: Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation while adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Stock and Inventory: Receive and store deliveries, restock supplies, manage stock rotation, and discard expired food.
  • Assisting Senior Chef: Follow instructions from chefs and assist with cooking, plating, and presentation of dishes.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Operate and help maintain kitchen equipment, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
