Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about food and eager to learn from experienced chefs in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Chef de Partie and kitchen team in daily food preparation.
  • Perform basic cooking tasks such as chopping, peeling, marinating, and mise en place.
  • Ensure ingredients are properly stored, labeled, and rotated.
  • Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene and safety standards.
  • Support the smooth running of the kitchen during service.
  • Learn and apply culinary techniques under the guidance of senior chefs.

Requirements

  • Some prior kitchen experience or culinary school training is preferred (not mandatory).
  • Strong interest in cooking and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Good time management and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
