We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about food and eager to learn from experienced chefs in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Chef de Partie and kitchen team in daily food preparation.
- Perform basic cooking tasks such as chopping, peeling, marinating, and mise en place.
- Ensure ingredients are properly stored, labeled, and rotated.
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene and safety standards.
- Support the smooth running of the kitchen during service.
- Learn and apply culinary techniques under the guidance of senior chefs.
Requirements
- Some prior kitchen experience or culinary school training is preferred (not mandatory).
- Strong interest in cooking and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Good time management and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
