Role Summary
We are seeking a meticulous, hands-on Pastry Commis Chef to produce consistent, high-quality baked goods while upholding food safety, hygiene and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
. Execute daily production of cakes, cookies, and pastries according to recipes, SOPs and quality standards
. Cooking of pastry components such as ganache, buttercream, etc
. Assembling of mini bites including brownies, cupcakes, and tarts
. Frosting and decorating of standard and customised cakes
. Prepare fondant decorations including fondant decorations, sculptures and fondant cakes
. Ensuring cleanliness of kitchen and equipment
. Inventory checking and organisation of storage
Requirements
. At least 1-2 years professional baking or pastry production experience.
. WSQ certifications in Baking/Pastry or equivalent
. Valid Food Hygiene Certificate is an advantage, otherwise training will be arranged
. Team player with good communication and a continuous-improvement mindset.
Schedule & Remuneration
. 6-day rostered work week, 8am to 4pm or 5pm (OFF on Sunday) @ Tai Seng
. Competitive salary commensurate with experience, performance incentives, overtime per MOM guidelines.
