Responsibilities
- Assist Head and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
- Prepare and portion food according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, recipes, and preparation methods.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and labeling of food products.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in all kitchen areas.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment regularly.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with monthly stock counts.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Basic food and hygiene certification.
- Prior culinary experience is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
- High standard of personal hygiene.
