We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Commis Chef to support our kitchen operations. This role requires hands-on involvement in day-to-day food preparation, strong execution skills, and a commitment to excellence in a high-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute dishes from your assigned section with precision, consistency, and high presentation standards.
- Assist the Chef de Partie in mise en place, service, and kitchen cleanliness.
- Uphold hygiene and safety standards according to SFA and internal SOPs.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen workflow.
- Participate in daily prep, service, and post-service duties with a proactive and professional attitude.
- Receive and store deliveries properly, maintaining stock rotation and quality checks.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 years of kitchen experience in a refined or upscale restaurant setting.
- Basic knife skills and understanding of mise en place systems.
- Strong work ethic, adaptability, and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well under pressure.
