The Commercial Vice President is responsible for leading and driving the overall revenue growth and commercial strategy of the Group across all markets. This role provides strategic leadership to the sales function while also overseeing key operational activities to ensure alignment between commercial objectives and execution capabilities.
You will lead high-performing sales teams, develop market expansion strategies, and ensure operational excellence across the Group to deliver sustainable business growth.
Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute the Group's sales strategy to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share targets
- Lead, mentor, and manage regional and country sales teams to drive performance and accountability
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets for expansion
- Establish and monitor sales KPIs, pipeline management, and forecasting accuracy
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
Revenue Growth & Business Development
- Drive large-scale deals, strategic accounts, and key customer engagements
- Oversee pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and commercial frameworks
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and technical teams to align offerings with market demand
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to refine go-to-market strategies
Operations Oversight
- Oversee operational functions to ensure efficient delivery of products and services
- Align sales commitments with operational capacity and resource planning
- Drive process improvements to enhance productivity, service quality, and cost efficiency
- Ensure cross-functional collaboration between sales, operations, and all services functions
- Implement performance metrics and governance frameworks for operational excellence
Sales Performance Management
- Own Group sales budget, revenue forecasts, and cost management
- Track and report performance against targets, providing regular updates to senior leadership and the Board
- Ensure effective use of resources to maximise ROI and operational leverage
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to corporate governance, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
- Support risk management initiatives related to commercial and operational activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- More than 18 years of extensive sales experience, complemented by proven leadership exposure, ideally in a regional or group capacity
- Fluent in English and Mandarin, enabling effective engagement across diverse stakeholders
- Proven track record in driving revenue growth and managing diverse teams, spanning across multiple regions
- Strong experience in both sales strategy and operational management
