The Opportunity:
Adecco is partnering with a global leader in the FMCG manufacturing industry and we are seeking to hire a Supply Planner for the business! The role sits within an integrated planning setup and goes beyond pure supply planning. It covers IBP/S&OP demand alignment, finished goods replenishment and factory coordination, inventory and DIO management.

The Job:
- Coordinate intercompany supply and international product movements to ensure timely importation, accurate documentation, and smooth customs clearance. Work closely with shared service teams, logistics partners, and third-party warehouses to manage shipment requirements and inventory transfers.
- Support demand planning and forecasting activities by developing short- to mid-term demand projections by utilizing advanced analytics, including Machine Learning (ML) and AI forecasting techniques, to model volume scenarios and sensitivities during monthly S&OP cycles. Partner with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to align on volume assumptions, evaluate different demand scenarios, and highlight potential supply risks during regular S&OP cycles.
- Monitor and manage inventory performance, including tracking key metrics such as Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO). Analyze inventory trends, identify potential supply risks at SKU level, and support mitigation plans to balance service levels and inventory exposure.
- Coordinate product launch readiness with cross-functional teams, ensuring sufficient supply planning, material availability, and alignment with production schedules to support new product introductions.
- Work closely with internal supply chain, regulatory, and finance stakeholders to ensure supply plans comply with applicable regulatory requirements, reporting obligations, and operational processes across relevant markets.
- Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support business decision-making. Translate operational data into insights that help evaluate trade-offs, optimize working capital, and support commercial planning discussions.
- Participate in regional or global supply chain initiatives and cross-functional projects, contributing to continuous improvements in planning processes, forecasting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
The Talent:
- At least 4 years of experience in an FMCG or fast-paced commercial environment.
- Experience supporting financial analysis, business planning, or data-driven decision-making will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with SAP system will be advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and support business decisions.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
