We are seeking an experienced Hospital/ Commercial Sales Lead to own and grow our key hospital accounts, including private specialist practices operating within hospital settings.
This is a senior, hands-on commercial role focused on strategic account leadership, revenue growth, and long-term partnerships with hospital stakeholders and specialists.
Role Description
Hospital & Specialist Account Leadership
Lead and manage a portfolio of key private hospitals and their in-house specialist practices
Act as the primary commercial partner to hospital management, department heads, and key specialists
Develop deep understanding of hospital workflows, referral patterns, and clinical decision-making
Revenue Growth & Commercial Strategy
Drive test adoption, profile optimisation, and service expansion across hospital accounts
Identify growth opportunities across core pathology, specialised testing, and new diagnostic offerings
Build and execute account plans with clear revenue, penetration, and growth targets
Stakeholder Engagement & Influence
Engage senior clinicians, specialists, hospital administrators, and procurement teams
Partner closely with internal medical, operations, and customer service teams to deliver on commitments
Support tenders, pricing discussions, and contract renewals where applicable
Execution Excellence
Translate commercial strategy into on-the-ground execution
Track performance metrics, account KPIs, and growth initiatives
Ensure service quality, issue resolution, and account satisfaction are consistently maintained
Who We're Looking For
1015+ years of experience in healthcare, diagnostics, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or hospital sales
Proven track record managing hospital accounts and senior clinical stakeholders
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels
Comfortable navigating complex hospital environments and multiple decision-makers
Data-driven, structured, and outcome-oriented
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Experience in diagnostics or pathology is a strong advantage, but not mandatory
