Role Overview
The MSSP Director – ASEAN (APJ Expansion) is a strategic leadership role responsible for building, scaling, and leading the Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) business across Southeast Asia.
The primary mission of this role is to establish Radware as a preferred cybersecurity partner within the ASEAN MSSP ecosystem by recruiting, enabling, and growing strategic service provider partnerships, driving recurring revenue, and developing scalable go-to-market programs. This leader will own MSSP growth across ASEAN and work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Technical, and Executive Leadership teams to accelerate market penetration and customer adoption. Once a strong and repeatable ASEAN MSSP business model is established, the role will progressively expand to support broader APJ MSSP initiatives, leveraging successful ASEAN frameworks, partnerships, and best practices across the region. The position combines business development, partner ecosystem leadership, executive engagement, and strategic market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
ASEAN MSSP Business Development (Primary Focus)
- Own the MSSP strategy, execution, and growth plan across ASEAN.
- Recruit, develop, and manage strategic MSSP partnerships to expand market coverage and revenue opportunities.
- Build and execute joint business plans with MSSP partners, including pipeline development, service offerings, revenue targets, and growth initiatives.
- Drive MSSP-generated pipeline, bookings, and recurring revenue growth across the region.
- Develop executive-level relationships with MSSP leadership, security operations teams, technical stakeholders, and business decision-makers.
- Position Radware's cybersecurity portfolio against competitors and drive differentiation through managed security services and value-added offerings.
- Collaborate with direct sales, channel teams, solution engineering, marketing, and customer success teams to accelerate MSSP-led opportunities.
- Identify new market segments, service opportunities, and strategic partnerships that can accelerate growth throughout ASEAN.
MSSP Program Leadership
- Lead MSSP onboarding, enablement, and operational readiness initiatives.
- Develop scalable partner recruitment, training, certification, and enablement frameworks.
- Ensure MSSP partners are equipped with the tools, resources, training, and support required for successful customer acquisition and service delivery.
- Create repeatable processes for pipeline generation, demand creation, and partner-led growth.
- Monitor partner business performance and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Drive quarterly business reviews and strategic planning sessions with key MSSP partners.
APJ Expansion (Secondary Focus)
- Replicate successful ASEAN MSSP programs and best practices across the broader APJ region.
- Support APJ leadership in developing regional MSSP strategy, planning, and execution.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to regional teams looking to accelerate MSSP business development.
- Participate in APJ-wide strategic initiatives involving service providers, cloud partners, and ecosystem development.
- Drive consistent MSSP engagement models, business practices, and operational excellence across APJ markets.
Executive & Regional Leadership
- Act as the executive sponsor for strategic MSSP relationships.
- Represent the company in executive forums, customer meetings, industry conferences, and partner events.
- Serve as the regional subject matter expert for MSSP strategy and market development.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Technical Services, Operations, and Executive Leadership teams.
- Provide regular business reviews, forecasts, market intelligence, and growth recommendations to senior leadership.
- Advocate internally for MSSP-related investments, programs, and strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales, channel development, MSSP management, or business leadership within the cybersecurity industry.
- Proven success developing partner ecosystems, service provider relationships, or indirect sales models across Asia Pacific.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies, managed security services, networking, cloud security, and application security solutions.
- Experience working with MSSPs, telecommunications providers, cloud service providers, or strategic channel partners.
- Demonstrated success developing and executing growth strategies in ASEAN markets.
- Executive-level communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong leadership capability with experience influencing cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Strategic thinker with a proven record of delivering measurable business outcomes.
- Ability to travel extensively across ASEAN and APJ as required (approximately 50%).
- Fluent English communication skills; additional ASEAN languages are advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building MSSP programs from inception through scale.
- Established network within the ASEAN cybersecurity and service provider community.
- Knowledge of cloud security, DDoS protection, Application Security, API Security, Bot Management, and Managed Security Services.
- Experience operating across multiple ASEAN countries and cultures.
- Experience driving regional transformation and expansion programs.
