The Opportunity
- Adecco is partnering with a leading global energy and industrial solutions organisation to find a Regional Commercial & Market Development Advisor (Vietnam Market).
- This role supports commercial growth and market development activities in Vietnam, working closely with regional teams and local distributors to strengthen market coverage, expand reseller networks, and drive sustainable business growth across automotive and selected B2B sectors.
- You will work at the intersection of market intelligence, distributor management, and commercial strategy, providing insights and operational support to help grow the business in Vietnam. The role requires regular engagement with distributors, resellers, and customers in Vietnam.
- This is a 12-month renewable contract role based in Singapore, with frequent travel to Vietnam expected.
The Talent
- 2-3 years of experience in commercial, business development, market analysis, or distributor management roles
- Experience working with distributors, resellers, or partner networks
- Ability to conduct market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and pricing validation
- Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable conducting market visits and engaging with customers and distributors
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently to Vietnam for business meetings and market development activities
- Ability to communicate in Vietnamese to liaise with Vietnam-based distributors, resellers, and customers, in addition to English for internal communication
- Background in lubricants, automotive, industrial, or energy sectors will be an advantage but not mandatory
- Self-motivated with a commercial mindset and willingness to learn
Job Description
This role focuses on supporting commercial strategy and expanding distributor networks within the Vietnam market.
In this role, you will:
- Conduct market intelligence and competitive analysis to understand pricing, positioning, and sector opportunities
- Support pricing validation and benchmarking studies against market competitors
- Work closely with distributors and resellers to support business growth and market coverage
- Identify potential new distributors and reseller partners to strengthen the distribution network
- Support the onboarding of new distributors under the guidance of the regional commercial team
- Conduct regular market visits in Vietnam to understand market dynamics and customer needs
- Analyse sales, inventory, and distributor performance to support commercial decision-making
- Ensure timely submission of forecasts, orders, and distributor performance scorecards
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop market offers and commercial initiatives based on market insights
- Identify growth opportunities across geographical areas and industry sectors and support action plans to improve competitiveness
