About Us

We are an established Design & Build interior fit-out company specializing in corporate office and workplace projects. As part of our continued business growth, we are looking for Quantity Surveying professionals to join our Commercial team to support tendering, costing, project delivery, and client presentations.

Depending on experience, successful candidates will be assigned projects of varying scale and complexity, with more senior team members managing larger and more complex projects or multiple projects concurrently.

Key Responsibilities

Tender & Pre-Contract

  • Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and quotations for tenders and ongoing projects.
  • Review tender specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
  • Work closely with Interior Designers and Project Managers on quantities, measurements, and cost planning.
  • Participate in cost planning and budgeting for corporate office fit-out projects.
  • Support the team in preparing cost proposals and presentations for client pitches.

Post-Contract Cost Management

  • Monitor project costs and budgets to ensure projects remain within approved financial targets.
  • Manage cost control and cost tracking for awarded projects.
  • Evaluate and manage variation orders, procurement costs, and project financial performance.

Project Coordination

  • Work closely with Project Managers, Designers, and vendors to ensure cost efficiency during project execution.
  • Attend site visits, project meetings, and client discussions when required.
  • Maintain proper commercial documentation and reporting for assigned projects.

Senior Roles

For more senior candidates, responsibilities may include:

  • Managing larger and more complex projects or multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Providing commercial guidance to junior team members.
  • Supporting management in commercial strategy, tender pricing, and project profitability.

Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or equivalent
  • Experience in a Design & Build company handling interior fit-out works for corporate office is highly preferred.
  • The job title will commensurate with the amount of experience you have (minimum 5 years of experience for QS, 10 years for Senior QS and 15 years for Commercial Manager).
  • Candidates with more experience will be expected to manage large and complex projects or handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an advantage.
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced project environment.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skill.
