About the Role

As a Commercial Manager – New Business (Metals & Agriculture), you will play a pivotal role in accelerating Kpler's footprint across the APAC region. Key Responsibilities

  • Drive proactive outbound prospecting via targeted phone calls, email outreach, and active networking to build a robust pipeline across APAC markets.
  • Lead end-to-end sales cycles by identifying prospect pain points, demonstrating Kpler's B2B SaaS platform value, and closing strategic new business opportunities.
  • Partner with senior executives and commodity market leaders, guiding them through product trials and resolving inquiries to maximize trial-to-close conversion rates.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal Sales and Business Development teams to share market feedback, co-develop regional sales strategies, and drive long-term revenue growth.
  • Maintain high CRM data integrity, ensuring accurate tracking of account interactions, pipeline progression, and revenue forecasting.

Experience & Background

What you'll need (Must-haves):

  • Hands-on experience in a dedicated commercial sales role, with a strong emphasis on new business acquisition (hunter approach).
  • Proven background selling solutions within Metals, Agriculture, broader Commodities markets, or enterprise B2B SaaS / data intelligence platforms.
  • Strong outbound sales drive with proven success in cold-calling, prospecting, and pitch delivery to senior management.
  • High fluency in English with exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills tailored to executive-level audiences.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Direct exposure to or domain knowledge of the global energy sector.
  • Familiarity with enterprise CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Hubspot) for pipeline and task management.

We are a dynamic company dedicated to nurturing connections and innovating solutions to tackle market challenges head-on. If you thrive on customer satisfaction and turning ideas into reality, then you've found your ideal destination. Are you ready to embark on this exciting journey with us
