About the Role

We're looking for a driven, analytical Commercial Growth Intern to support the growth of our Singapore and Philippines markets. Reporting to the Marketing Lead (Singapore & Philippines), you'll play a hands-on role in client acquisition, onboarding, and market strategy — working directly with commercial and cross-functional teams.

Your market focus will be:

  • Philippines (primary): Gig economy acquisition — freelancers, developers,
  • Singapore (secondary): SME acquisition — goods & services (eg. ecommerce sellers, wholesalers, marketing agencies)

This is a rare opportunity to gain real commercial exposure in a high-growth fintech environment, working on live strategies that directly impact revenue.

What You'll Do

Client Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Follow up with prospective and onboarding clients via calls, email, and WhatsApp
  • Identify and resolve onboarding roadblocks; support lead generation review
  • Conduct customer surveys and interviews; assist in setting up incentive campaigns

Market & Competitor Research

  • Research industry trends, competitor positioning, and market dynamics across the Philippines and Singapore payments landscape

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Track and analyze onboarding performance and KPIs
  • Build dashboards, prepare decks, and conduct customer segmentation for internal stakeholders

Operations & Coordination

  • Support day-to-day operations: proposals, meeting minutes, and cross-team coordination (Telesales, Business Growth, Onboarding, Risk)

Strategic Contribution

  • Participate in go-to-market brainstorming and contribute to World Account growth initiatives

Requirements

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Strong interest in B2B fintech, consulting, payments, ecommerce, or go-to-market strategy
  • Comfortable working with data; proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g. VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Python, AI tools, or VBA/automation is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, concise insights
  • Confident engaging in client-facing interactions across calls, emails, and messaging platforms
  • Proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented; a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to commit to a 6-month full-time internship
