About the role
Consolidation & Reporting
o Support the reporting suite required to manage the business unit needs, to ensure the sales leads are adequately armed with the right information, and to collate and present all materials to the Global Finance Director.
o Ability to set timelines for regional teams and consolidate relevant content in a concise and consistent format at key times during the month end cycle.
o Support the delivery of the Power BI and Helix platforms including integration in the broader business.
o Deliver timely and accurate management reporting packs to the finance teams and various global teams at key times through budget.
Business Partnering
o Support key sales and marketing stakeholders to deliver their financial forecasts and to enable them to make good business decisions .
o Work with key finance stakeholders in regional and global teams to ensure that reporting back to management is aligned and accurate, and to ensure that global targets are correctly rolled out and communicated to the right stakeholders .
o Provide some level of A&P support to regional marketing teams.
Systems & Processes
o Ensure that all systems are talking to each other and that our financials flow between systems seamlessly.
o Continuous improvement in financial systems ways of working including master data management and optimized reporting.
Ad hoc
o Ad hoc support from time to time on other business priorities including special projects.
About you
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Certificate of Accounting Professional is preferred but not a must
2+ years in FMCG company or 3+ years in professional accounting services
A proactive and positive can do attitude
Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills
Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills
Strong time management skills, with ability to multi-task, and plan and project manage deliverables
An understanding of process and governance frameworks
Ability to research and be self sufficient in problem solving and troubleshooting
Good communication, influencing and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently
Advanced Excel and modelling skills
Experience with reporting systems and tools
