Commercial Executive (Estimating)

Position Summary

Plays a key role in the commercial department by receiving enquiries from clients, working closely with Production & Subcon on preparing a Proposal in an accurate and timely manner, and working closely with clients to follow up on the status of our bids.

Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Understand and evaluate vessel repair / docking specification.
2. Preparation and timely submission of quotation for Ship Repair, Conversion and Retrofit Projects on the basis of manhours, materials and subcontractor costing prior to award of contract.
3. Liaise with equipment vendor / subcontractor for accurate quote.
4. Attend vessel inspection.
5. Any other ad-hoc duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Minimum (3) years working experience in the field of ship repairs / shipyard.
