Commercial Diver

Job Description

• Strong swimming and diving skills, able to work safely in underwater environments.

• Proficient in using diving equipment: masks, fins, regulators, buoyancy control devices.

• Knowledge of underwater construction techniques: welding, cutting, concrete placement.

• Familiar with underwater inspection and surveying methods, including cameras, sonar systems, and measurement tools.

• Ability to work effectively in a team and follow supervisors instructions.

• Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues during underwater operations.

• Physical stamina to perform tasks in demanding underwater conditions.

• Attention to detail for accurate documentation and reporting.

• Knowledge of safety protocols and commercial diving regulations.

• Good communication skills for coordination with team members and supervisors.

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Diver certification from a recognized institution.

• Minimum 2 years of commercial diving experience.

• Proficient in first aid and CPR.

• Able to pass physical fitness tests and maintain good health.

• Familiarity with relevant diving regulations and industry standards.

• Advanced certifications (e.g., underwater welding, inspection) are a plus.

• Experience operating underwater equipment such as ROVs or underwater cameras is preferred.

• Valid diver's license with a clean record.
