Commercial Counsel (AI, Platform & Regulation)

This is a new role to join a global technology platform, headquartered in Singapore for the APAC region and with an established legal team in place.

The work is cutting edge in terms of social media platforms, AI and regulation. The focus will be on you utilising your core legal / commercial skills to help business teams navigate and succeed in fast developing regulatory landscapes across Asia.

Key Focus = Strategic & Regulatory Advisory

The Role

• This role will focus on partnering with product and commercial teams to offer on point regulatory guidance around markets, products and services.
• Your role is to enable commercial teams to succeed in regulatory challenged markets through clear and analytical advice.
• You will utilise external counsel to fact find around critical regulatory changes and with a mix of commercial acumen, show clear ways in which business teams can operate.
• Project work includes working with colleagues across Asia, Europe and the US on global product launches.

Other key requirements

• 6 - 12 PQE
• Regulatory background across technology would be preferred
• Experience with social media, AI, product compliance and regulatory changes in Asia - all highly desirable
• International law firm training and tier 1 education
• Superb communication skills
• Analytical / problem solving lawyers required
