The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Director to lead and drive commercial and business development strategies across Asia. This role oversees the PC and console games business and plays a critical part in optimising performance, expanding partnerships, and aligning regional initiatives with global goals. You will work closely with teams across Singapore, Taiwan, and South Korea, and report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Strategy & Business Development

. Oversee day-to-day commercial operations for PC and console games across Asia.

. Define and execute go-to-market and monetisation strategies across key territories.

. Lead business development efforts, exploring new partners, platforms, and distribution channels.

. Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to ensure business alignment and growth.

Sales & Product Operations

. Manage pricing, SKU setup, content localisation, and stock coordination.

. Ensure high-quality product listings, assets, and descriptions across digital and retail platforms.

. Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to optimise revenue and market share.

Market Expansion & Analysis

. Conduct market analysis to identify new growth opportunities in Asia region.

. Track industry trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities to inform business decisions.

. Provide regular reporting to senior leadership with actionable insights and recommendations.

Cross-functional & Regional Collaboration

. Work closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to align strategies and execution.

. Facilitate collaboration between regional teams and Japan HQ, including bilingual communication where needed.

. Support the localisation and release planning of new titles for the Asia region.

Requirements

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of senior leadership experience in game publishing, digital distribution, or entertainment.
  • Strong commercial and strategic planning background with proven success in Asia markets.
  • Prior experience managing partnerships and business negotiations across multiple countries.

Skills& Capabilities

  • Strong data analysis, planning, and reporting skills.
  • Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
  • Confident communicator with experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Language& Communication

  • Fluent in Englishbusiness-level Japanese is highly preferred.
  • Skilled in navigating both Western and Japanese business cultures.
