. Liaison with ship owners, vendors as well as departments on project requirements and costs.
. Estimation and Projection of Shipbuilding, Upgrading, Repair and Conversion Cost
. Negotiate and coordinate with all parties on project schedule
. Assist to manage and lead commercial team including development, training, performance management and succession planning
. Resolving contractual and commercial problems and to report to the management regularly
. Manage internal relationships with operations, commercial, Sales and Marketing to ensure optimal performance and to provide commercial requirements for projects and sales activities.
. Interpreting financial, operational, commercial or customer insights to ensure a commercial/billing issue is fully understood and that hard hitting action are taken and constantly reviewed
. Developing, reviewing and optimizing commercial strategies against key competitors
. Work with the Sales team to target specific high value customers and ensuring the business is maximizing revenue
. Extensive experience in the required field
. Proven ability to perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice.
. Proven ability to prioritize and complete work assignments by specific deadlines.
