Commercial Analyst (Legal)

Key Responsibilities:

. Conduct detailed analysis of construction contracts, tenders, and commercial agreements

. Identify, assess, and quantify financial, operational, and legal risks embedded within contract clauses.

. Perform specific analysis on intellectual property (IP) clauses of clients and the company, and advise on the implications

. Support the tender and project teams by providing risk assessments and recommending mitigation strategies to protect profitability.

. Ensure all commercial terms comply with local regulations and standard practices across the APAC and Greater China regions.

. Act as a liaison between the legal department and commercial operations teams, translating legal terms into business implications.

. Assist in the development of standardized processes for contract and IP review.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

. A Bachelor's degree or diploma in legal studies or a related field

. Strong understanding of fundamental legal principles and contract law.

. Knowledge of intellectual property law concepts and their commercial application is essential.

. Familiarity with the business and regulatory environment in the APAC region, particularly Greater China.

. Any academic or intern experience related to construction, engineering, or projects is a significant advantage.

. Proficiency in English and Mandarin is an advantage to review documents and communicate with regional stakeholders.
