Job Summary
Our client who is located in Dubai is looking for someone to lead global, multi-site 24/7 NOC operations for a hyperscale data centre platform, directing incident response, uptime, and command centre performance to ensure mission-critical infrastructure reliability.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage global, multi-site 24/7 NOC / Command Centre operations to ensure continuous data centre performance
- Make senior operational decisions for incident management, uptime, and critical infrastructure stability
- Oversee real-time monitoring of electrical, mechanical, fire, BMS/EPMS/DCIM systems to detect and address issues promptly
- Direct incident response and crisis management across multiple data centre sites to minimize downtime
- Build, lead, and develop large, multi-regional 24/7 operations teams to maintain operational excellence
- Standardize global procedures, escalation frameworks, and reporting to ensure consistent operational practices
- Manage vendor relationships, compliance requirements, risk mitigation, and operational performance metrics
- Deliver clear, actionable operational reports and uptime metrics to senior leadership for informed decision-making
Required competencies and certifications
- Extensive experience (15+ years) in mission-critical operations, including 5-10+ years in data centre environments
- Proven leadership in large-scale, multi-site NOC / Command Centre operations
- Strong background in MEP, Building Services, or Critical Facilities management
- In-depth knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including BMS/EPMS/DCIM technologies
- Demonstrated ability to lead 24/7 operations across multiple regions and time zones
- Calm and decisive leadership skills with strong incident and crisis management capabilities
- Willingness and ability to relocate to Dubai
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Relevant certifications such as CCP, Uptime Institute, PE, or equivalent are advantageous
