What a College Intern - Procurement Commodity Manager does at HP:
Helps lead individual supply chain sub-category / commodity, including data and industry analysis.
May lead an international, cross-functional team.
Meets with stakeholders, senior managers to understand business priorities and translate them into supply chain strategies.
Develops and utilizes supply chain, business, and financial modeling tools.
Develops understanding of and relationship with outside suppliers and internal product development and manufacturing teams.
Drives supply base optimization.
Responsible for day-to-day operations of small to large suppliers.
Provides input on risk mitigation, business continuity, cost management, and operation strategies.
Assesses current and evolving business models in the marketplace.
Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:
Current undergraduates with supply chain or business background would be ideal.
Able to commit to a 5-6 months full time internship, starting in January 2026.
Knowledge of Power BI, Supply Chain Inventory Planning, Logistics Management is a plus.
First level university degree with business acumen; advanced university degree preferred.
