Job Summary
As a Shop Assistant, you will support the Coffeeshop Supervisor in maintaining cleanliness, managing drink sales, and ensuring smooth daily operations at the outlet.
Responsibilities
- Take customer orders accurately and prepare beverages to meet quality standards before serving
- Serve drinks promptly to customers, ensuring a positive service experience
- Restock drink shelves regularly and conduct stock counts to maintain inventory accuracy
- Clean and maintain the outlet and drink stall, including mopping floors and clearing tables to ensure a hygienic environment
- Clean toilets within the premises to uphold sanitation standards
- Assist in monthly stock take by counting and verifying inventory
- Support daily opening and closing duties to prepare the outlet for operation and secure it after hours
- Operate the cashier counter efficiently when required, handling transactions accurately
- Perform other assigned tasks to support outlet operations
Required competencies and certifications
- Ability to work beyond scheduled hours when necessary
- Physical endurance to walk and stand for long hours in a coffeeshop environment
