Coal Trader (BULK COMMODITIES/CENTRAL)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze supply-demand dynamics, price trends, and market developments in the thermal coal sector to support trading and commercial decisions.

• Source, procure, and manage thermal coal supplies, building and maintaining long-term relationships with suppliers to ensure stable and reliable procurement channels.

• Assess mining production conditions and supply processes to evaluate and optimize procurement sources.

• Execute procurement and sales transactions, ensuring smooth deal execution and contractual compliance.

• Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with market conditions and company objectives.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and trading partners across international markets.

• Identify, assess, and manage market and transactional risks, implementing appropriate risk mitigation measures.

• Coordinate logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and delivery, to optimize costs and ensure efficient supply chain operations.

• Collaborate with internal teams as sales, operations, shipping to support end-to-end trade execution and resolve operational issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in International Trade, Business, Marketing, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of trading experience in coal or related bulk commodities, preferably with international market exposure.

• Willingness to travel to Indonesia and China regions when required.
