Job Summary
You will set up and operate CNC milling machines accurately to meet engineering specifications, maintain a clean and safe workstation, and perform tasks assigned by the Foreman to support machining operations.
Responsibilities
- Set up CNC milling machines by installing tooling, fixtures, and workpieces according to engineering drawings and job specifications to ensure precision machining
- Operate CNC milling machines effectively to meet production requirements and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation to comply with housekeeping and safety standards
- Execute additional tasks assigned by the Foreman to support daily machining operations
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum ITE Technical Certificate, preferably in Precision Metal Machining
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience setting up and operating CNC milling centres
- Knowledge of tooling criteria, machining applications, and process documentation
