CNC Lathe Machinist / Programmer

Knowledge to Mastercam & Solidwork , Program for CNC Milling & Lathe

. Read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, GD&T, CNC machine setup and process routing.

. Liaise with production team and engineers on the production information.

. Translate instructions into codes for machines to perform accurate functions.

. Prepare machine setup for test runs to ensure machine outputs are according to specifications.

. Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts.

. Create solid models using the CAD/ CAM software with precision according to the drawings.

. Coordinate with process engineers and machine stop technicians/ supervisors to create and validate machining programs.

. Supervise the task execution and inspect and measure finished products to ensure that measurements are complied with.

. Document the CNC program process and maintain the revision change according to change management process.

Requirements

. Professional certificate in Precision Engineering or relevant field.

. Minimum 1 years in programming experience.

. Excellent knowledge in handling, programming & setting up of CNC machines.

. Able to read engineering drawings and understand the GD&T.

. Proficiency of at least one CAD/ CAM software with 3D modelling.

. Able to communicate in English.

. Good interpersonal skills.

. Keen attention to details.

. Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
