Job Summary
You will program, set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines to meet production schedules and output targets. You will troubleshoot machines to maintain efficiency, perform regular cleaning and maintenance, and support quality and output improvement efforts.
Responsibilities
- Program CNC machines to execute precise machining tasks according to engineering specifications
- Set up CNC machines by configuring tools and parameters to prepare for production runs
- Operate CNC machines to produce parts that meet quality and output targets within scheduled timelines
- Troubleshoot CNC machines promptly to resolve issues and maintain continuous production efficiency
- Perform regular cleaning and preventive maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Use measurement instruments to verify part dimensions and ensure compliance with engineering drawings
- Collaborate with team members to contribute to quality and output improvement initiatives
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant machining experience in Precision Engineering
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and technical instructions
- Willingness to work on rotating shifts
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and effective teamwork skills
