Your new role
- Develop and implement plans and strategies to meet and exceed manufacturing performance targets.
- Ensure smooth manufacturing operations through robust processes, high equipment uptime, and clear operating procedures.
- Forecast and manage budgets for test wafers and process-related expenditures.
- Drive work improvement initiatives to reduce defect density, lower costs, and enhance throughput, OEE, and Cpk.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve yield, quality, and productivity.
- Apply SPC, FMEA, and DOE methodologies for total quality control.
- Lead continuous improvement programs (QIT) to create cost-effective and reliable processes.
- Conduct performance appraisals, map career paths, and provide training and guidance to engineers and associate engineers.
- Maintain open communication and feedback sessions to improve work processes and team morale.
- Oversee process installation, monitoring, and capability reporting.
- Manage recipe control, documentation, and availability.
- Participate in change management meetings and conduct departmental audits.
- Ensure compliance with housekeeping and safety standards in the fab.
What you'll need to succeed
- MSc or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
- 8 years of semiconductor wafer fab operational experience with technical expertise in Diffusion/CMP processes.
- Strong knowledge of wafer fabrication equipment and process control, particularly in oxide CMP.
- Familiarity with SPC, FMEA, DOE, and continuous improvement methodologies.
