We are looking for an experienced and motivated AWS Cloud Wintel Engineer with years of expertise in managing and supporting Windows-based environments on AWS. The candidate should have a strong foundation in system administration, cloud infrastructure, and automation within the AWS ecosystem.
- Provision, configure, and manage Windows Server environments on AWS (EC2, EBS, S3, IAM, etc.)
- Perform patching, backup, and recovery of Windows servers hosted in AWS
- Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies in cloud and hybrid setups
- Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., CloudWatch, SSM)
- Support the migration of on-premises Windows workloads to AWS using AWS Migration tools
- Automate repetitive administrative tasks using PowerShell, AWS CLI, or similar scripting tools
- Troubleshoot OS-level and AWS infrastructure issues (e.g., performance bottlenecks, network issues)
- Ensure compliance with security standards, best practices, and organizational policies
- Prepare clear documentation and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Apply ITIL practices to patch management, incident resolution, and infrastructure monitoring
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
