The Cloud Solution Architect plays a key role in helping customers modernize and transform their IT infrastructure using public cloud technologies. This role works closely with Digital & Cloud Experts, presales teams, and customers to design, propose, and deliver scalable cloud solutions that meet both technical and business needs.
You'll act as a trusted advisor throughout the customer journey - from presales and solution design to implementation and post-deployment optimization - while ensuring solutions are secure, cost-effective, and future-ready.
Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions aligned with customer business goals.
Architect solutions across IaaS and PaaS, including containers, serverless, and cloud-native services.
Develop cloud modernization roadmaps (lift & shift, re-hosting, re-platforming, re-factoring).
Ensure solutions meet performance, security, governance, and compliance standards.
Collaborate with APAC presales teams to qualify opportunities and shape cloud solutions.
Deliver solution presentations, demos, pilots, and Proof of Concepts (POCs).
Lead responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
Prepare technical documentation including HLDs, LLDs, proposals, and BoMs.
Provide cost estimates for cloud infrastructure, networking, and security.
Support application, middleware, database, and infrastructure migration to the cloud.
Identify and mitigate risks related to integration, scalability, and configuration drift.
Provide technical leadership during implementation and ensure solutions are delivered as designed.
Work closely with project managers to deliver projects on time, within scope and budget.
Apply DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines to support cloud transformation.
Leverage containers, microservices, serverless, and managed app services.
Share best practices on Managed Cloud operating models and cloud governance.
Engage business and technical stakeholders to align cloud strategy with business objectives.
Act as a trusted technical advisor during and after implementation.
Mentor junior architects and consultants.
Stay current with cloud technologies, trends, and best practices.
8-10 years of IT implementation or consulting experience, including:
VMware vSphere, data centre concepts
Enterprise storage (NetApp, EMC)
Server platforms (HP, Dell)
3-4 years of architecture and design experience for enterprise or distributed systems.
2-3 years hands-on experience with public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Proven experience delivering large-scale production cloud deployments within the last year.
Strong understanding of public cloud pricing models and cost optimization.
Experience designing on-premise to cloud migration strategies.
Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns (SOA, ESB, EAI, ETL).
Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD automation.
Strong experience in proposal writing and tender responses.
Ability to lead and influence virtual and cross-functional teams.

DevOps & CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab, GoCD, AWS CDK, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy
Enterprise platforms: JEE, middleware (WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, Tibco), databases, data warehouses
Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent experience)
