DC13363681 - Cloud Solutions Architect (Azure)

The Company

Our client is a well-known global brand and we are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to support the initial, greenfield phase of an Azure cloud migration programme. This is a high-impact contract role where the successful contractor will be one of the first architects on the programme, responsible for defining and shaping the target Azure architecture from the ground up. The role will work closely with peer-level architects and the wider technology team to establish scalable, secure, and future-ready cloud solutions.

The Role

• Design and define the target Azure cloud architecture for a greenfield migration programme
• Lead architecture decisions during the early discovery and design phase
• Collaborate closely with: Infrastructure Architect, Data Architect, Application and engineering teams
• Translate business and technical requirements into end-to-end solution designs
• Ensure alignment with security, governance, and best practices within the Microsoft ecosystem
• Provide architectural guidance and documentation to support downstream delivery teams

Your Profile

• Proven at least 6 years of experience as a Solution Architect on cloud transformation or migration programmes
• Strong hands-on architecture experience with Microsoft Azure
• Solid understanding of identity, access, and enterprise services (AD / Entra, M365)
• Experience designing architectures in early-stage / greenfield environments
• Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills
• Background in .NET-based environments is highly desirable
