Cloud Solution Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Define and design the architecture for cloud platform infrastructure and migration strategies, building strong relationships with key technical stakeholders.
• Oversee cloud platform services, including software deployment and upgrades, system setup, administration, monitoring, incident resolution, and security management.
• Develop and maintain templates and standards for Cloud Infrastructure (primarily Azure) while managing performance and costs.
• Promote the use of cloud infrastructure, highlighting associated risks and opportunities.
• Present technical findings and information clearly to non-technical audiences, ensuring decision-makers understand key points.
• Provide technical services for business case preparations, alternative analyses, effort estimates, and cost requirements documentation.
• Review, draft, and update technical documents to ensure accuracy, quality, and timeliness.
• Regularly assess and recommend new technologies to enhance internal efficiencies and better serve enterprise clients.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or relevant major and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with enterprise clients.
• Proven experience managing multi-year on-premises and cloud migration programs (IaaS, PaaS) for large organizations.
• Expert-level experience in architecting and delivering large-scale Azure cloud solutions that comply with policies and regulations.
• Experience working with large data sets.
• In-depth knowledge of server infrastructure, virtualization, and cloud computing.
• Familiarity with critical infrastructure components (e.g., Active Directory, VMWare, Windows Server, Linux, NAS/SAN storage, networking) is a plus.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, Perl, PowerShell).
• Understanding of API management, microservices, and system integration.
• Experience in building cloud-native applications.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration abilities, along with excellent written, verbal, and public speaking skills.
• MS Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification is required.
