Cloud Solution Architect (Azure)

Job Summary

Seeking a Cloud Solution Architect to lead enterprise migration from on-premises platforms to Microsoft Azure cloud. Responsible for Azure solution design, cloud transformation strategy, governance, and technical leadership.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field;
• 8–12 years of experience in cloud, infrastructure, or enterprise architecture;
• Strong experience in Azure cloud migration and transformation projects;
• Expertise in Azure VM, VNet, AAD, AKS, App Services, and Storage;
• Experience with hybrid cloud and enterprise infrastructure design;
• Knowledge of Rehost, Replatform, and Refactor migration approaches;
• Strong understanding of networking, IAM, security, backup, and DR;
• Experience with Azure Migrate, ASR, and Database Migration Service;
• Good knowledge with Terraform, ARM, Bicep, PowerShell, or Azure CLI;
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desired Skill-set

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert;
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate;
• TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification;
• Experience within managed services, system integrators, or large enterprise environments;
• Exposure to multi-cloud platforms and container technologies will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead Azure cloud architecture and migration planning;
• Assess existing infrastructure and cloud readiness;
• Define migration roadmap and target-state architecture;
• Design secure, scalable, and resilient Azure solutions;
• Develop solution blueprints and technical standards;
• Guide teams on Azure services and DevOps integration;
• Ensure compliance with security and governance standards;
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning;
• Conduct architecture reviews and technical workshops;
• Provide technical leadership across migration programmes.
