Cloud Security Engineer

We're working with a well-funded technology company in Singapore that's scaling its cloud and infrastructure security team. They operate across multiple regions, and security is baked into the platform, not bolted on.

This isn't a monitoring-only role. You'll be deploying firewalls, building detection rules, designing cloud security architecture, and working directly with product and infrastructure teams. If you've spent the last few years actually building and deploying security controls (not just managing vendors who do it), this is the kind of role where you'll have real ownership.

What you'll be doing:

• Deploying and managing cloud security controls across Azure
• Building threat detection across a hybrid infrastructure stack
• Onboarding and developing SIEM and SOAR platforms, including log source integration and automation
• Working with stakeholders on security requirements and translating them into real controls
• Responding to customer-sponsored penetration tests
• Contributing to the security roadmap to meet customer and regulatory demands
• Running workshops and knowledge shares to raise the security bar across the org

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years hands-on experience with cloud security controls (Azure preferred)
• Strong knowledge of network security including firewall and WAF deployment
• Experience with at least one SIEM and SOAR platform
• Solid understanding of identity management and federation (SAML, OAuth)
• Familiarity with containerization and virtual infrastructure security
• Scripting/automation skills (Python preferred)
• AZ-500 or equivalent cloud security certification is a plus
