Job Description

Job Description:

  • Manage, monitor, and optimize Azure resources (e.g. AKS, AKV, VMs, storage, networking, APIM, Azure AD, monitoring).
  • Implement and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates).
  • Monitor performance, costs, and compliance using Azure Monitor, Sentinel, and Cost Management.
  • Implement disaster recovery, high availability, and backup strategies.

Windows & Linux System Administration:

  • System Admin, Install, configure, patch, and troubleshoot Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS) systems.
  • Manage services such as Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Group Policy, IIS, Apache/Nginx, and SMTP.
  • Perform OS hardening, vulnerability remediation, and performance tuning.
  • Automate system tasks using PowerShell, Bash, and Ansible.

Networking & Firewall:

  • Manage and troubleshoot Azure networking (VNets, subnets, NSGs, load balancers, VPNs, ExpressRoute, firewalls).
  • Configure and support firewalls, routing, and switching in hybrid and cloud environments.
  • Implement and monitor network security policies, WAFs, and intrusion detection/prevention solutions.
  • Work with IPsec, SSL, TLS, certificates, and VPN tunnels.

DevOps & Automation:

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
  • Support containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS).
  • Automate deployments, patching, and monitoring through IaC and configuration management tools.
  • Improve operational reliability with monitoring, alerting, and self-healing solutions.

Security & Compliance:

  • Apply cloud security best practices and manage Azure RBAC, Key Vaults, and Defender for Cloud.
  • Ensure systems and networks comply with security frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC2, IM8, CIS).
  • Support incident response, vulnerability management, and security audits.

Collaboration & Support:

  • Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes (ITIL aligned).
  • Provide on-call/after-hours support on a roster plan.
  • Work with developers and security teams to ensure operational excellence.
