We are seeking a Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer (L2/L3) with strong hands-on experience across hybrid environments (AWS/Azure + On-Prem).
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V/Nutanix), Linux/Windows systems, and enterprise infrastructure operations, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and support business-critical systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 support for cloud and on-prem infrastructure environments
- Manage and troubleshoot AWS and/or Azure workloads (compute, storage, networking, IAM)
- Administer and support virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV)
- Perform incident, problem, and change management following ITIL practices
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for complex issues and implement preventive measures
- Support Linux and Windows server environments including patching and hardening
- Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity
- Manage backup, disaster recovery, and system updates
- Collaborate with internal teams on deployments, migrations, and upgrades
- Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks
Requirements
Technical Skills
- Cloud: Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure (EC2/VMs, VPC/VNet, Storage, IAM)
- Virtualization / Hypervisor:VMware vSphere / ESXiMicrosoft Hyper-VNutanix (AHV / HCI)
- Operating Systems:Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu)Windows Server (AD, DNS, DHCP)
- Infrastructure:Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewall basics)Backup tools (Veeam, Commvault or similar)Monitoring tools (SCOM, SolarWinds, etc.)
Experience
- 4-8 years of experience in infrastructure / cloud operations (L2/L3 support)
- Experience working in enterprise or managed services environments
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Exposure to hybrid cloud environments (on-prem + cloud integration)
- Ability to handle production environments and critical incidents
Good to Have
- Exposure to automation (Shell, Python, Ansible)
- Experience with Docker / Kubernetes
- Basic understanding of security and compliance frameworks
