about the role
You will be the backbone of a robust multi-cloud ecosystem (AWS, Azure, and GCP). This is a hands-on operational role focused on ensuring the 24/7 reliability, security, and performance of critical cloud-native services. You will not just maintain-you will be empowered to drive automation through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and lead complex OS lifecycle projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining high-availability production environments across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, supporting services from serverless (Lambda/Functions) to containerized clusters (EKS/AKS/GKE).
- Maintaining IaC pipelines using Terraform or Ansible to eliminate environment drift and streamline deployments.
- Leading large-scale patching cycles for RHEL and Windows Server environments, ensuring minimal downtime and strict compliance.
- Executing CIS hardening, vulnerability remediation, and managing SSL/EOL components to meet stringent regulatory standards.
- Participating in a 24/7 shift rotation to provide Level 2 technical troubleshooting and mentor junior engineers through ITIL-based change management.
skills and experience
- Approximately 5 to 7 years of experience in infrastructure operations, with at least 3 years focused on multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Ansible).Deep expertise in Windows Server (up to 2025) and RHEL (v8-v10) lifecycle management and patching tools (WSUS, SCCM, YUM, or Cloud-native patch managers).Practical knowledge of Containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and ITIL frameworks (Incident/Change/Problem management). Knowledge of Singapore government tech standards (e.g., SHIP-HATS) is a significant advantage.
- Ability to support a 24/7 shift rotation and thrive in a high-compliance, regulated environment.
- AWS SysOps/Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, RHCE, or ITIL Foundation.
