Cloud Engineer (No Experience Needed)

Red Alpha Cybersecurity is a talent development company and is looking for aspiring Cloud Engineers to join our Programme, a unique opportunity to break into Cloud with structured training and guaranteed job placement.

Whether you're a fresh graduate or looking to pivot into Cloud Engineering, this programme is designed to equip you with the technical capabilities, tools, and real-world exposure to succeed.

About the Programme

Successful applicants will go through a fully sponsored, full-time BootCamp (3–4 months) followed by deployment to our hiring partners.

BootCamp Phase

• Duration: 3–4 months
• Full-time, in-person training
• Monthly training allowance provided
• Industry-led curriculum covering cloud systems, DevOps, automation, and security

Deployment Phase

• Duration: 3 years
• Full-time salaried position
• Hands-on work across cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, and DevSecOps
• Ongoing technical mentorship and professional development

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing, setting up, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure
• Supporting and monitoring operational systems based on SLA requirements
• Planning and executing infrastructure projects and preventive maintenance
• Developing CI/CD pipelines for automation and release workflows
• Implementing and managing DevSecOps tools and processes
• Identifying and mitigating platform vulnerabilities
• Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams (software, security, operations)

What You Should BE Eager to Learn

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Get familiar with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Explore virtualisation, hypervisors, or Nutanix platforms
• Build up Windows Server and Linux OS knowledge
• Learn VPN, firewalls, and network switches/routers

DevOps & Automation

• Pick up tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Nexus, Jira, Confluence
• Dive into container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
• Get hands-on with DevSecOps pipeline implementation
• Explore vulnerability scanning tools (Tenable, Nmap)

Programming & Scripting

• Grow your proficiency in Bash, Python, JavaScript, or Java
• Understand API integrations and security best practices
• Learn SSL, certificate management, and encryption
