Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates to ensure consistent and repeatable cloud environment provisioning.
- Implement disaster recovery strategies and ensure high availability of critical cloud services.
- Collaborate with security teams to conduct vulnerability assessments and implement remediation measures.
- Optimize cloud network architectures including VPCs, subnets, routing, and VPN connections for performance and security.
- Conduct cost analysis and implement cost-saving strategies such as reserved instances and auto-scaling policies.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Train and mentor team members on cloud technologies, tools, and best practices.
- Perform capacity planning and forecasting to align cloud resources with business needs.
- Integrate monitoring tools and dashboards for real-time cloud service health and performance tracking.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, and FedRAMP.
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis for cloud service outages or security breaches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless cloud adoption and integration.
- Evaluate and implement container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes for scalable application deployment.
- Manage cloud service provider relationships and negotiate service agreements and SLAs.
- Support migration projects including legacy system assessment, planning, and execution to cloud environments.
Job Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
- At least 8 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or similar roles
- At least 2 year of relevant experience with the Cloud System Monitoring tools and Cloud operations
- Strong knowledge and skills in Azure or other cloud platforms
- Proficient in cloud computing concepts, architectures, and services
- Experience in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience in cloud automation and orchestration tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
- Certifications in Azure or other cloud platforms are a plus
