Job Summary
We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to support the firm's digital infrastructure and ensure secure, scalable, and compliant cloud operations. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based systems to support legal operations, document management, and client services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS) to support firm-wide applications and services.
- Ensure cloud systems comply with PDPA, Law Society guidelines, and internal IT policies.
- Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, and security.
- Implement automation tools for deployment, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Collaborate with legal and support teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Maintain documentation for cloud architecture, configurations, and procedures.
- Support migration of legacy systems to cloud platforms.
- Manage access controls, encryption, and data protection measures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues promptly.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud engineering or IT infrastructure.
- Hands- ons experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity, compliance, and data governance.
- Familiarity with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python) and automation tools.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and legal tech platforms is a plus.
- Cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, AWS Solutions Architect) preferred.
