Cloud Engineer

Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Cloud Engineer. The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for managing cloud infrastructure, developing and maintaining cloud-based applications, and ensuring system reliability and security. The role involves implementing scalable solutions, optimizing performance, and troubleshooting any cloud-related issues as they arise. The Cloud Engineer will also collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Cloud Computing, including experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure and Linux systems
• Knowledge of Databases, including database management and optimization
• Skills in Software Development, including scripting and automation
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate in remote team settings
• Familiarity with security best practices related to cloud environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
• Relevant certifications in cloud solutions (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are an asset
