Cloud Engineer

This is a client-facing delivery role focusing on cloud operations and implementations. The engineer will execute daily cloud operations, participate in migrations, and provide administration support. The role involves implementing and maintaining cloud systems, supporting process improvements, and collaborating with team members and clients. The engineer will ensure that all configurations comply with performance, security, and maintainability standards while keeping technical skills and certifications current.

What will you do

• Perform daily cloud operations and administration tasks
• Ensure configurations comply with performance, security, and scalability standards
• Implement automation in new projects using tools such as Ansible, CloudFormation, and Terraform
• Maintain cloud systems through automated processes with documentation
• Participate in VM and database migrations using CloudEndure or Azure Migrate
• Support operational meetings and process improvements with clients
• Maintain certifications and technical knowledge of cloud technologies
• Resolve technical issues with proper documentation in compliance with SLAs

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 1+ years of experience in cloud operations, administration, and deployments
• Hands-on experience in cloud migrations and infrastructure support
• AWS Cloud Practitioner or Azure Administrator/Fundamentals certification (required)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Effective in resolving client issues with follow-up and closure
• Team-oriented with a proactive mindset
• AWS Solution Architect Associate certification (advantageous)
• Containerization expertise (EKS, AKS, GKE, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Tanzu) advantageous
