Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Junior Cloud Engineer to support the deployment, operation, and continuous improvement of cloud-based infrastructure. This role is ideal for candidates looking to build hands-on experience in cloud engineering, automation, and scalable systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy and configure solutions in the cloud across development and production environments.
  • Automate cloud operations by developing infrastructure automation scripts and contributing to the continuous improvement of cloud solutions.
  • Participate in the specification, setup, and execution of Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and technical demonstrations of cloud solutions.
  • Administer and maintain servers and services across virtualized and cloud platforms.
  • Monitor system performance and availability, and support incident troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to improve system reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in cloud, system engineering, or related roles
  • Basic knowledge of at least one cloud platform (AWS / Azure / GCP)
  • Familiarity with:
  • Linux systems
  • Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS)
  • Basic scripting skills (Python / Shell)
  • Strong willingness to learn and grow in cloud and platform engineering
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English, in order to support coordination and collaboration with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, teams, and business partners across regional markets.
